The Clearninghouse on Male Circumcision for HIV Prevention is moving to the new Global HIV Prevention Coalition’s Resource Hub. All of our resources have been transferred to the GPC site, where additional VMMC resources will continue to be posted as part of the Adolescent Boys and Men pillar. This site will no longer be available beginning May 1, 2024.
The aim of this report is to review global practices of male circumcision among neonates and children, including prevalence, age at circumcision, type and training of provider, common circumcision methods, frequency of complications, and cost. Data were collected through a systematic review of the published literature.
