Established in 2017, the Global HIV Prevention Coalition is a group of 25 countries that have endorsed a detailed road map for meeting the global 2020 targets for HIV prevention. The coalition’s first progress report, covering the period from October 2017 to March 2018, describes overall progress in strengthening national HIV prevention leadership and capacity, new HIV prevention targets and national strategies, addressing legal and policy barriers to effective HIV prevention, and defining HIV prevention service packages and platforms. It also contains country-specific progress reports, or scorecards. A summary of progress on voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) — one of the road map’s five pillars of prevention — is available here.
