The Clearninghouse on Male Circumcision for HIV Prevention is moving to the new Global HIV Prevention Coalition’s Resource Hub. All of our resources have been transferred to the GPC site, where additional VMMC resources will continue to be posted as part of the Adolescent Boys and Men pillar. This site will no longer be available beginning May 1, 2024.

This poster describes how the MMC SUSTAIN team worked with the National Department of Health in South Africa to prepare to reopen voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) sites closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with clear guidance to sites on how to resume safe VMMC services, assessments of site readiness, training in occupational safety and COVID-19 prevention and management, and routine quality checks. The poster was presented at the 21st International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA 2021), which was held in Durban, South Africa, and virtually from 6 to 11 December.
