The Clearninghouse on Male Circumcision for HIV Prevention is moving to the new Global HIV Prevention Coalition’s Resource Hub. All of our resources have been transferred to the GPC site, where additional VMMC resources will continue to be posted as part of the Adolescent Boys and Men pillar. This site will no longer be available beginning May 1, 2024.
Mathematical modelling was used to compare the impact of combined interventions—extended antiretroviral therapy coverage, voluntary medical male circumcision, and pre-exposure prophylaxis among women—on HIV incidence in South Africa. The results are published in this article in BMC Infectious Diseases.
