This introduction to the 2017 Project IQ webinar focusing on partnerships in voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) programming provided updates on the project’s forthcoming resources for VMMC, including materials to help providers and clients reduce the risk of infection and tetanus following VMMC, guidance on the integration of reusable surgical instruments into VMMC programmes, and a new webinar series on demand creation for VMMC. It also presented the overall theme of the webinar — the benefits of partnerships and collaboration for increasing adoption of VMMC.
