The results of a modelling exercise, published in a PLoS collection, will inform South Africa’s efforts to develop a national strategy and operational plan for voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC). Researchers used the Decision Makers’ Program Planning Toolkit 2.0 to assess the impact and cost-effectiveness of focusing VMMC service delivery on specific client age groups or geographic locations.
