The Clearninghouse on Male Circumcision for HIV Prevention is moving to the new Global HIV Prevention Coalition’s Resource Hub. All of our resources have been transferred to the GPC site, where additional VMMC resources will continue to be posted as part of the Adolescent Boys and Men pillar. This site will no longer be available beginning May 1, 2024.
To help set voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) targets for the scale-up of the intervention in Kenya, researchers modelled VMMC coverage. As detailed in an article in PLoS One, triangulated data helped correct for an over-estimation of coverage in initial modelling.
