Researchers evaluated the cost drivers and the overall unit cost of VMMC for a variety of service delivery models providing either surgical voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) or both PrePex and surgical VMMC in Zimbabwe and Zambia and of three hypothetical PrePex-only models of service delivery in Zimbabwe. This article presenting the results was published in a special supplement of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes about studies on the introduction of the ShangRing and PrePex devices.
