High HIV Incidence and Low Uptake of HIV Prevention Services: the Context of Risk for Young Male Adults Prior to DREAMS in Rural KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Demographic and HIV surveillance data were used to determine HIV incidence and the uptake of HIV testing and voluntary medical male circumcision services among young men in rural KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The results, which suggest an urgent need for interventions designed for and with young men, are described in an article in PLoS One.
