The third of the four Action Catalyst Tools (ACT) for Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC), this tool is designed to organize information about specific barriers to uptake of VMMC in ways that will help teams define the challenges and explore solutions. The tool consists of a set of custom-made intervention design cards, along with a card placemat and an Intervention Design Idea Card that can be downloaded from the Clearinghouse. The instructions describe how to use the tool to generate ideas for interventions to overcome barriers to VMMC uptake.
