JHHESA Brother's for Life Campaign

JHHESA Brother's for Life Campaign

The multi-platform, award-winning campaign for HIV prevention, men’s sexual health promotion, and gender violence prevention called Brothers for Life is used as the main vehicle for voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) communication in South Africa. This nationwide campaign, developed by Johns Hopkins Health and Education in South Africa (JHHESA), increases awareness of and knowledge about VMMC for HIV prevention. This case study is one of the promising practices in VMMC documented by BBC Media Action in 2013.
