This two-page brief summarises eight strategic directions for addressing COVID-19 based on lessons from the response to HIV in low- and middle-income countries. It is one of a series of briefs produced by the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) and its partners in the Global HIV Prevention Coalition to provide guidance to countries on maintaining essential HIV services and safeguarding the health of vulnerable people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
