The World Health Organization (WHO) and Jhpiego have revised the original Manual for Male Circumcision under Local Anaesthesia based on field experience providing voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) services since WHO launched the manual in 2009. The changes in the updated manual are summarised in these slides, which were presented by Mehebub Mahomed of Jhpiego at the Meeting on Implementing the 2017-2021 Framework for VMMC for the Eastern and Southern Africa Region in Durban, South Africa, on 27 February 2017.
