Data on understanding of post-male circumcision abstinence recommendations, resumption of sex, condom use, and triggers for resuming sex were collected during follow-up interview with clients 35 to 42 days after circumcisions performed with the ShangRing in Kenya and Zambia. The results are reported in this article, which was published in a special supplement of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes about studies on the introduction of the ShangRing and PrePex devices.
