New Data on Male Circumcision and HIV Prevention:  Policy and Programme Implications

The World Health Organization and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) convened an international consultation to review the results of the three randomised controlled trials and other evidence on medical male circumcision and HIV prevention, discuss the policy and programme implications, and make recommendations regarding public health issues. This document summarises the principal conclusions and recommendations of the meeting.
