Researchers conducted in-depth interviews and focus group discussions to gain a better understanding of parental communication, engagement, and support for male adolescents as they consider circumcision, receive voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) services, and heal post-procedure. The results are presented in an article published in a special supplement to the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases about improving VMMC services for adolescents.
