Participant Experiences and Views of Odor and PrePex Device Removal Pain in a VMMC Pilot Study in Botswana

Researchers analysed data from a PrePex device pilot implementation study involving 802 men at two clinics in Botswana to assess experiences and perceptions of pain upon device removal and odour associated with the procedure. Their results were published in a special supplement of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes about studies on the introduction of the ShangRing and PrePex devices.
