In South Africa, the Center for HIV and AIDS Prevention Studies (CHAPS) has partnered with Dr. Maphisa & Partners, a private medical practice serving the inner city of Johannesburg and the surrounding townships, and Metropolitan Health, the countries’ largest administrator of medical schemes, to expand access to voluntary medical male circumcision. This case study describes the progress made and lessons learned through this partnership from December 2012 to September 2014.
