In this longitudinal study published in PLoS One, researchers measured the incidence and predictors of male circumcision in rural KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, from 2009 to 2014. Despite an increase in male circumcision prevalence over time, the prevalence remains well below South Africa’s national coverage target of 80 percent.
