All of our resources have been transferred to the GPC site, where additional VMMC resources will continue to be posted as part of the Adolescent Boys and Men pillar. In this study described in PLoS One, a new cadre of mid-level medical workers in South Africa called “clinical associates” was assessed for their ability to perform voluntary medical male circumcisions (VMMCs) through a retrospective analysis of patient files of surgical VMMCs over a 16-month period.
