The Stylish Man Campaign aims to motivate men in Rakai, Uganda, to take a more active role in HIV prevention and treatment, which includes HIV voluntary counselling and testing, safe male circumcision, condom use, prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, and HIV care and treatment. Based on research, the campaign uses a de-medicalised approach that repackages these practices, products, and services for the modern, stylish, Ugandan man. This case study is one of the promising practices in VMMC documented by BBC Media Action in 2013.
