This presenation is a report on the two and a half day WHO/UNAIDS M&E Meeting held in Johannesburg (18 – 20 September) to review the findings of the two-phase assessment underaken by The UNAIDS Regional Office to document the M&E systems and capacities related to male circumcision in the fourteen priority countries in the region. Some of the findings show that even though countries are scaling up male circumcisionm, accurate, high quality data are not yet being systematically collected.
