WHO MC TAG report

The World Health Organization (WHO) Technical Advisory Group on Innovations in Male Circumcision (TAG) met from 30 September to 2 October 2014 to review new information on the safety of the PrePex device from pilot implementation studies and programme roll-out, the safety and suitability of the PrePex™ and the ShangRing™ devices for circumcision in adolescents, other innovative methods for adult circumcision, and the safety and clinical performance of infant circumcision devices used in African settings. The deliberations and recommendations of the TAG are summarised in this report. A public report on ShangRing prequalification is also available.
