A study in Malawi, involving 791 men who were circumcised by providers using the PrePex device at one urban and two rural sites, assessed the safety, feasibility, and acceptability of such procedures. The findings are reported in this article in a special supplement of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes about studies on the introduction of the ShangRing and PrePex devices.
