Safety Monitoring: Adverse Event Reporting and Response

Moses Galukande of the Surgical Association of Uganda describes how the Ugandan Ministry of Health monitors and responds to adverse events associated with voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) and the role that associations of surgeons and anaesthesiologists could play in strengthening that system. He gave this presentation at the Meeting on Implementing the 2017-2021 Framework for Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision for the Eastern and Southern Africa Region in Durban, South Africa, on 1 March 2017.
