Strength of Evidence on Demand Creation for Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision from 7 Impact Evaluations in Southern and Eastern Africa

In this article, published in a supplement to the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes, the authors review seven impact evaluations conducted in six countries to test a variety of innovative strategies for increasing the demand for voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC). They explore the strength of the evidence for each evaluation, and then interpret the findings across the seven studies, taking into account the relative strength of the evidence.
