The Clearninghouse on Male Circumcision for HIV Prevention is moving to the new Global HIV Prevention Coalition’s Resource Hub. All of our resources have been transferred to the GPC site, where additional VMMC resources will continue to be posted as part of the Adolescent Boys and Men pillar. This site will no longer be available beginning May 1, 2024.
This presentation describes the identification of and response to a rare but serious complication of voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) in Zimbabwe. Dr. Vernon Murenje of the ZAZIC consortium presented these slides at a 2017 Project IQ webinar, "Emerging Issues in VMMC Safety: Staying on the Cutting Edge."
