thumbnail_CDC_releases_VMMC_data

This spreadsheet presents routine voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) programme data collected from 2010 to 2016 at public health service delivery sites supported by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 12 priority countries in southern and eastern Africa. Data were drawn from site-level VMMC registers, collected by VMMC implementing partners, and reported to PEPFAR and CDC. The data in the spreadsheet are disaggregated by client age, number of device-based VMMCs performed (2013-2016), uptake of HIV testing services, results of HIV testing offered at VMMC sites, adherence to post-operative follow-up, and post-operative moderate or severe adverse events (2010–2012) among men receiving VMMC services. The data set also includes a spreadsheet showing the total VMMCs performed by country. The data are available for download, subject to the use provisions detailed in the accompanying documentation
