VMMC at ICASA 2021

Several presentations and posters on voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC), which were presented at the 21st International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (ICASA 2021), are available on the Clearinghouse. ICASA 2021 was held in Durban, South Africa, and virtually from 6 to 11 December.

The presentations are from a 9 December satellite session that examined the past and potential impact of VMMC on HIV in eastern and southern Africa. This session was convened during ICASA 2021 by the Joint United Nations on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the U.S. President's Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR):
