After a voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) has been performed, a counsellor must ensure that the adolescent client (and his parents/guardians, if present) understands the post-procedure written instructions and follow-up appointment schedule. This cue card is designed for counsellors to use, along with a counselling guide, to prepare for post-procedure counselling; a flip chart based on the cue card is also available for use during the such counselling.
