Researchers explored the involvement of female adolescents in their male peers’ decisions about voluntary medical male circumcision and the postoperative wound healing process through focus group discussions and in-depth interviews with adolescents in South Africa, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe. The results are presented in an article published in a special supplement to the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases about improving VMMC services for adolescents.
