To assess progress on public education about safe male circumcision (SMC) and HIV in Uganda and inform future communication, the Health Communication Partnership (HCP) survey included several questions on male circumcision. Findings (summarised on pages 34-37) revealed a high level of acceptance and intention among men to go for safe male circumcision; however, more efforts are needed to increase rates of circumcision in older, married men.
