The Clearninghouse on Male Circumcision for HIV Prevention is moving to the new Global HIV Prevention Coalition’s Resource Hub. All of our resources have been transferred to the GPC site, where additional VMMC resources will continue to be posted as part of the Adolescent Boys and Men pillar. This site will no longer be available beginning May 1, 2024.
This document outlines the elements of a waste management plan for a voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) programme, including steps to be taken at the national and facility levels, options for disposal methods, and estimated costs. It is included as Guidance Document 4 in the PEPFAR guide to best practices for VMMC site operations.
