Safety and Efficacy of the PrePex Male Circumcision Device: Results from Pilot Implementation Studies in Mozambique, South Africa, and Zambia

Pilot Implementation studies were conducted in Mozambique, South Africa, and Zambia to assess the safety of circumcision of male adults and adolescents (13 to 17 years) performed by nurses and clinical officers using PrePex devices. The results are reported in a special supplement of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes about studies on the introduction of the ShangRing and PrePex devices.
