IntraHealth used male population data triangulated with data on the delivery of voluntary male medical circumcision (VMMC) services, community expert narratives, and interactive visual maps to increase efficiency in planning and monitoring and to determine where to prioritise VMMC scale-up. This case study is one of 11 on enhancing uptake of VMMC that were selected for inclusion in an annex of the World Health Organization’s 2020 VMMC guidelines.
