Progress in Scaling Up VMMC, 2012

The number of male circumcisions performed in 2012 was almost double the number performed in 2011 as the pace of programme scale-up increased in almost every priority country. This update on the progress of voluntary medical male circumcision programmes from the World Health Organization and UNAIDS describes the progress these programmes made and the opportunities and challenges they face. A summary of the report is also available. WHO and UNAIDS publish annual progress reports on VMMC scale-up.
