After a voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) has been performed, a counsellor must ensure that the adolescent client (and his parents/guardians, if present) understands the post-procedure written instructions and follow-up appointment schedule. This flip chart is designed to be used during post-operativee counselling; a cue card is also available to help counsellors prepare for the sessions. Both are part of a package of materials developed to strengthen counselling for adolescents at VMMC services.
